Business Planning & Fundraising

We can provide comprehensive advice, guidance and support on Business and Financial Planning and on Income Generation Strategy.  We can deliver targeted Fundraising Campaigns.

Business and Financial Planning is a cornerstone of our consultancy service. We are experienced in working with both creative businesses and the not-for-profit sector, and in developing bespoke business planning frameworks that provide flexible, user-friendly tools to underpin sustainable growth and development.

We also offer packages of support in Income Generation Strategy development and in undertaking direct Fundraising activities.  We    understand how to excite the interest and enthusiasm of potential investors and funders, while providing them with the evidence base, research and analysis that engenders confidence and security.

We have recently been working with City Arts, the leading Nottingham-based participatory and community arts organisation, to research and appraise the viability and identify practical delivery routes for activities that will diversify the organisation’s funding base by generating unrestricted income through traded services.

Between 2008 and 2010 we ongoingly worked with the Creative Learning Agency, the Arts Education Agency based in the South West, to provide strategic advice on future income generation, responding to the organisation's transition from a local authority-led service to an independent charitable company.

During 2008 we successfully fundraised substantial project funding on behalf of consortium led by Canterbury City Council for the two-year CD:EK initiative to support the professional development of early career visual arts.

In 2006 we worked with Fabrica Gallery, the leading-edge publicly-funded visual arts space in Brighton on the preparation of a detailed study into commercial income generation that included detailed appraisal of options for the generation of unrestricted funds through retail sales and commercial events.
